PALATINUS HOUSE
The 2 bedroom apartment in the Palatinus House is next to the River Danube, it’s special location gives its Guests the opportunity to stroll along the Danube's Embankment or on Margaret Island. The street -where the apartment is- has always been famous, it has lots of shops, bars and some of Budapest’s best restaurants. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 persons, you can rent the entire apartment, or just a private bedroom.

- the area - called Újlipótváros - has its own unique history, while the building itself played an important role saving many Jewish people in WW2 and even nowadays there is a strong Jewish character to it
- the apartment is 50 m2 in size, has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and a dining area (it's possible to rent the entire apartment or just a bedroom)
- Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) with M3 metro line is about 10 minutes walk
- Kossuth Lajos tér with M2 is also about 10 minutes walk away
- Jászai Mari Tér with Budapest’s most important trams, line number 2 and 4 and 6 are just 2 minutes walk away
- sights next to the Palatinus House: House of Parliament, Margaret Island
- the closest bathhouses: Lukács, Veli Bej, Király Bath and Császár Spa
- in the building downstairs you can find: supermarket open 24/7, 2 very good and reasonable priced restaurants, organic pastry and grocery shop
- an English language bookstore is right opposite the street
- clubs and many more restaurants nearby
- it’s on the 6th floor, so has the apartment is very bright and very silent and an there's an elevator of course

The building is remarkable and it is really fun to feel like you are living like a local. Just below the apartment are some mini-marts, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants, so everything is easy access. It is only a 2 minute walk to the river, and 10min to the parliament. It is a really great, sunny, and cozy place! I recommend renting it out entirely for you and friends since the second bedroom is quite tiny, and the other bedroom is also the living room, so it's best to be close with the others around! Also, Martin is very trustworthy and reliable. His mom and friends were there cleaning up the place and preparing it with fresh wine before we arrived! Great experience!"- Laura
